HOUGEN® 12,000 SERIES ANNULAR CUTTERS

Professional-grade Hougen annular cutters engineered for fast, accurate holemaking in steel and alloy materials up to 275 BHN (28.5 HRC). Manufactured from hardened M2 high-speed steel with patented Hougen-Edge® geometry for smooth cutting, long tool life, and reduced horsepower requirements.

All 4" and 6" 12,000-Series Cutters now feature Quad Helix Flutes. After years of design and testing, the game has changed for deep hole drilling with the new Quad Helix Flute design. The geometry improves chip flow from the bottom recesses of the cutting teeth—reducing chip build-up, minimizing time spent clearing chips, and increasing overall productivity.

The one-of-a-kind continuously expanding flutes act as an auger to efficiently extract chips during drilling. Quad Helix Cutters feature the time-proven Hougen-Edge® tooth geometry, are fully resharpenable, and are proudly Made in the USA.
